Warm And Toasty in Vibram KSO Shoes

by Administrator | post a comment

classYestoday, just got back from a 12 mile run in my Vibram KSO Shoes with Injini Socks. Its about 25 out and there is a dusting of snow on the ground. My feet were warm as could be until the last mile when I hit some puddles and they got wet. As long as they stay dry they feel great. I can not wait for spring, just 3-4 more months!

classI ran about 4 miles in my new Vibram kso trek shoes on this morning - was in the Poconos for the weekend - and it was dark and cold when I went out to run - I'd say it was below freezing, perhaps in the 20's. My feet were rather warm and toasty! WOAH! They were actually sweaty when I was done. My friend ran in her Five fingers kso and said that her feet were a little cold when she was done.  so porbably the thing would have been was Vibram five fingers kso and toe socks. But I am happy that I decided to get Flows - they should carry me through the NJ winter!

classSnow trail running sounds amazing! I'm not as scared now to run in snow after todays run, I will running in winter wear the Vibram five fingers. But its weird to think that at 30 degrees it would harder then at 20 due to the melting factor.
