these are better than running barefoot, because they actuallly protect your feet. You can also use them for a lot more than just running. I use them for lifting shoes at the gym, you can swim while wearing them, and they are great for any time

I purchased these after reading, "Born to Run". They are actually quite ugly and whenever I wear them, I get curious comments. At first, they were a bit hard to put on but if you do it per instructions-no problem. They are comfortable and I wore them out of the box for most of the day.
