Vibram Five Finger Classic, but with higher coverage on your feet to keep stuff out!
The Vibram KSO's are made with a thin, abrasion-resistant stretch polyamide mesh fabric which fits up over your arch on the foot - for comfort and quick drying.

I have worn many kinds of shoes and none compare to my vibram fivefingers. Like everyone else my calves were sore for a couple of days but ran anyway and now when I run I feel great. I will wear vibram from here on out for all of my running. To anyone thinking about getting a pair I say go for it.
